The members of the Felton Business Association make possible, through their generous financial and volunteer support, the following annual events:
  • Memorial Day Weekend Parade and Covered Bridge Festival
  • Race Thru the Redwoods
  • Tree-lighting Ceremony with a visit from Santa for
    Felton children
  • Annual Member BBQ

Ongoing

  1. Valley Churches United
    The Felton Business Association donated $1,000 to the VCUM Holiday Projects, which help those less fortunate.

  2. Presbyterian Church Thanksgiving Dinner for All Comers
    The FBA Donated $100 to the Presbyterian Church to help defray expenses of the special "everyone welcome" community Thanksgiving dinner they provide.

  3. SLV High School Cross Country Track Team
     Donated $500 from Racer Thru the Redwoods proceeds.

  4. Santa Cruz Racer Timers
     Donate $500 from race proceeds.

  5. Felton Volunteer Fire Department
     Donated $500 from race proceeds.

  6. Mountain Parks Foundation
     Donated $200 from race proceeds (in lieu of park rental fee).

  7. Scotts Valley High School Track Team
     The Felton Business Association donated $500 from Race thru the Redwoods proceeds.

  8. Santa Cruz Track Team
     The Felton Business Association donated $1000 from Race thru the Redwoods proceeds.

  9. Banners for Race Thru the Redwoods, Memorial Day Parade, and Holiday Season.
     Because banners announcing major FBA events are mounted high on the utility poles in the business area, we must pay to have each set of banners put up and taken down by a vendor with a cherry picker.

  10. FBA events calendar
     New this year, the FBA events calendar provides members with a heads up for all our major events, including dates and times, as well as the dates of each monthly meeting.

  11. FBA Members and Prospective Members Information Packet
     This packet contains a copy of the updated FBA BYlaws, an events calendar, a copy of the Felton brochure, and a detailed listing of FBA events and projects.

  12. Notifying county public works of needed maintenance for weeds and street lights.

  1. Marked crosswalk and warning signs on Highway 9 at New Leaf Market and trimming of trees to make crosswalk more visible.

  2. Marked crosswalk at Big Trees Road

  3. Repair lights on Felton San Lorenzo River bridge

  4. Landscaping by Santa Cruz Water Co. at Graham Hill Road pump station

  5. Review and update of FBA Bylaws

  6. Interview and information for San Francisco Channel 5 TV segment on Felton - aired January 2008.

  7. Permanent Poles to Hang Event Signs Across Graham Hill Road are now completed and in use. A huge thanks to John Fasolas for making it happen.
